TEHRAN TIMES - Free agent Shoja Khalilzadeh signed a two-year contract with Persepolis football team.

Persepolis, who have won Iran Professional League, started to strengthen their team for the upcoming season by signing the 27-year-old defender as their first summer signing.

Khalizadeh will wear No. 3 jersey in the Iranian popular football team.

He started his playing career at Mes Rafsanjan in 2008 and has also played as Mes Kerman, Sepahan and Tractor Sazi.

Khalilzadeh has made five caps for Iran national football team.

Persepolis football team have reportedly reached an agreement with Nigerian striker Godwin Mensha.
