PLDC - Yayha Golmohammadi, Saba Battery's experienced defender who just recently retired from the national team, will on Sunday play against his former club, Perspolis. Golmohammadi who spent 8 years in Perspolis told Perspolis's official website that Sunday's game will bring a lot of memories back to him. He told the website: "I have a contract with Saba and I will give it all to play for my team, but it is not easy to play against my former club which I loved and the game will bring back to life many good memories that I had in Perspolis". Golmahammadi also said that Perspolis must start winning games if they want to stay in the title race and that the team is playing much better compare to the past recent years.
At the end, Golmohammadi told Perspolis's
website that he might retire from football at the end of the season if his
contract is not renewed, and he might even look into coaching in the future. |
