PFDC - MASHAD, Ahmad Khormali, the goalkeeper for IPL team Abo Moslem has been released by the club per Firooz Karimi's decision.

According to "Mehr" news agency, following Karimi's decision not to include Khormali in their lineup for their game against Esteghlal, he left the locker room in a rage which led to Karimi declaring that Khormali would no longer be part of the team.

Although on the other hand another Abo Moslem official announced that Khormali had been forgiven and will participate in team practices. Jalal Khoshzad, team manager, commented, "It wasn't a serious incident and there shouldn't be too much time spent on it." He added that he would be available the following day to respond to any questions regarding this matter and it would be best if it were not discussed at the present time.

Firooz Karimi was unavailable for comment due to the funeral of his mother inlaw.
