PFDC - Zob Ahan of Esfehan will be leaving for Bahrain on Sunday to play its second game in the Asian Champions League. In its first game Zob Ahan managed to defeat a strong opponent in Pakhtakor by a single goal.

This same Pakhtakor team advanced to the semifinals of last year's edition of this tournament thus further emphasizing the importance of such a win for Zob Ahan.

In preparation for this game Zob Ahan, which is fresh off of its training camp in Kish, played a friendly against a Kish selection and managed to defeat them. The team will be flying to Bahrain via Tehran on Sunday afternoon.

It seems that Zob Ahan is still in search of a few players to complete its roster. One of the players they have their eye on is Ebrahim Asadi of Persepolis, however, Persepolis has yet to make any move to approve of the release of this player.

Considering that Begovich rarely uses Asadi it would be a positive move on Ghamkhar's part to accommodate Zob Ahan's request because under the circumstances helping Zob Ahan is like helping our national team and the addition of this player can solve some of Zob Ahan's midfield woes.

Zob Ahan will be facing AL Riffa of Bahrain, who lost 2-0 to Al Rian of Qatar in their 1st game, in Issa Town Stadium at 6:30 local time on Wednesday.

Possible lineup for Zob Ahan: Petrossian, Azizzadeh, Hoseini, Taghipour, Heydari, Omidian, Azizi, Rezai, Stratolat, Rajabzadeh, Vaziri.
