Mehr News – Abu Moslem of Khorassan will represent Iran in a football tournament, Presidential Cup, in Turkmenistan in mid-February. 
Invited by the Turkmen Football Federation, the Iran Pro League side comprising 20 players and eight officials has been scheduled to leave the country for Ashkhabad, capital of Turkmenistan, on Feb. 10.

Abu Moslem is to play its opening match against the top European team, Dinamo Kiev.

Divided into two four-team groups, the eight participating teams include Abu Moslem, Dinamo Kiev, Turkmenistan’s national and under-23 sides, as well as the European and Arab teams.

The champion will win a purse of 50,000 dollars and the second- and third-placed teams will receive 35,000 and 25,000 dollars.

Esteqlal of Tehran stood top in the previous edition.
