PLDC - Tehran, Former Real Madrid assistant coach has signed as the head-coach for Buriram United.

Since Englishman Scott Cooper resigned from his post as the head-coach of Buriram United, the club has signed Alejandro Menendez Garcia, who was a former Real Madrid assistant to Jose Mourinho.

Garcia was Mourinho's assistant during the 2010-2011 season, and he was also the coach of Real Madrid B.

The second-leg of the AFC Champions League quarter-finals match between Esteghlal and Buriram United will be played on Wednesday, September 18th, in New I-Mobile Stadium in Buriram, Thailand.

Esteghlal won the first-leg in Tehran with a lone goal from Khosrow Heydari early in the game.
