PFDC - Perugia who played their full team, minus Rezaei in a mid-week 11-0 friendly victory, restored the rested Iranian Defender to their lineup.

By winning a scrappy game 2-1, Peruia secured 3 golden points. Fabrizio Carmignani's Parma are stuck with thier worseing relegation fears after side went down 2-1 to a mid-table Perugia side.

Parma’s woes startes as early as the seventh minute when Perugia’s Greek striker Zisis Vryzas, who Ali Samereh is trying deplace in the Perugia line-up, shrugged off French defender Martin Djetou and scored the opener.

Things got worse with only half an hour played when Fabio Bazzani scored a second fro Perguia. The goal was scored after a dangerous corner by in form Fabian O'Neill found Bazzani.

Parma’s play was to improve, but they only scored comically with 15 minutes left. Perugia goalkeeper Oscar Cordoba parried a shot by Japenesse International Striker, Hideo Nakata. Next Iranian defender Rahman Rezaei walked backwards into and stumbled over a bemused Cordoba, leaving both players immobile on the floor. A shocked Emiliano Bonazzoli followed up with a simple finish.

Parma piled forward in the final ten minutes but wasteful finishing cost them dearly as the visitors failed to get back on level terms.

After the game Perugia manager Serse Cosmi: "We used a lot of energy to get this result and started to tire after the break. Their goal left the game open and that caused even more problems, but I’d say there is no question that we deserved to win."
