MNA -The Iranian national football team hopes to participate in two warm-up games prior to its match against the United Arab Emirates in the 2010 World Cup Qualifiers.

The deputy director of Iran’s Football Federation said, “The federation held talks with the football federations of Oman and Turkey about playing two warm-up games against Iran.”

Mali will probably replace the Turkey B team, Mehdi Taj added.

Iran will play the UAE on Match Day 3 of the 2010 World Cup Qualifiers on June 3 in Tehran.

Iran is in Group E along with Syria, Kuwait, and the UAE.
