IRNA - Zob Ahan and Iran Pro League winner Sepahan Tuesday fought in all-Isfahani League Cup semifinal, won by Zob. The two sides struggled to a 1-1 tie in the normal and extra time in Naqsh-e Jahan Stadium, Isfahan, and the penalty shootouts decided the winner. 
Hamid Shafiei took the lead for Zob in the 41st minute. The fans, players and coaches of Zob Ahan who were congratulating each other were silenced as Seyed Mohammad-Mehdi Seyed Salehi of Sepahan grabbed 
a late equalizer in the second minute of injury time of the second half. 
In the extra time, no ball passed the goalmouth and ref Ali Khosravi showed the penalty spot for five kicks for each side. 
Zob outscored the yellow-clad Sepahan and won the semi 5-4. In final, Zob Ahan meets Fajr which defeated Pas 1-0 at home.

Mehrzad Ma'danchi converted a penalty in the 81st minute, helping his side Fajr win the second-leg semifinal against host Pas 1-0 in Shahid Dastgerdi Stadium. 
Pas reduced to 10 men in the 79th minute when referee Massoud Moradi red-carded Sar-Abadani and six minutes later Vahid Rezaei of visitor Fajr received his marching orders. 
In the first leg in Hafezieh Stadium of Shiraz, the two sides struggled to a goalless draw. 
The finalists will meet in two-legged clash on July 6 and 10.
