Daniel Davari

TehranTimes - German-Iranian goalkeeper Daniel Davari, who recently joined German club Arminia Bielefeld, stated that he will try his best in his new team to return to Team Melli.

“I had a bad season with Grasshopper Club Zurich in Swiss League due to some personal issues but now Arminia Bielefeld move is a new challenge for me and I will try hard to return to my good days.

“I am happy to come back to Germany and I will try my best to persuade Carlos Queiroz to invite me again,” Davari told Varzesh3.

Davari was an unused substitute at 2014 World Cup in Brazil with Alireza Haghighi starting all three matches for Iran but he has no complain about not playing in the tournament.

“That was the coach’s decision and I have no complaint whatsoever about it. Last season in Swiss League the thing didn’t go in my way and I believe these are all experience which can improve my career. I will try my best to return to Team Melli once again,” the 27-year old goalkeeper added.
