Andranik Teymourian

PLDC - Tehran, The Esteghlal coach said, "Ando shouldn't have left us in our current situation. Sooner or later, he was going to get paid."

Amir Ghalenoei is not pleased with Andranik Teymourian leaving Esteghlal, when the club is in such a weak state, due to missing several players because of injuries, and also because of financial troubles

Ghalenoei said, "Teymourian is a player with good morals. I myself haven't got paid for a while, and have even lend the club 500 million Tomans, yet I didn't abandon my team to go and sit at home. This blue jersey is priceless. Despite our financial troubles, last season we were able to win the league and finish in the top four of the Champions League."

He continued, "Teymourian shouldn't have done this in our situation. It is during hard times like this, that everyone must help the team."

Ghalenoei added, "Pejman Montazeri hasn't received one penny of his pay this season, yet he has come to all of our practices. This is the type of attitude and character that needs to be praised."
