TEHRANTIMES - Tehran derby between Iranian football giants Persepolis and Esteghlal will be played on November 1, Iran Professional League (IPL) announced on Tuesday.

Persepolis and Esteghlal will play in the eighth week of the IPL in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.

Esteghlal and Persepolis have played against each other 76 times, with Esteghlal winning 24 games, Persepolis taking 18 victories, and 34 matches ending in a draw.
