PFDC - WESTERLO/ST. TRUIDEN, The Iranian international Reza Ghoochannejhad (25) helped the Belgian second division side St. Truiden to defeat KVC Westerlo after penalty shootout in the Belgian Cofidis Cup's round of 16.

The Mashad-born striker scored twice and had three assists, but St. Truiden had to face an extra time and a penalty shootout after a thrilling 5-5 draw during the normal time.

Ghoochannejhad and St. Truiden won 4-2 on penalties (the Iranian national team player also scored from the penalty spot) and therefore advanced to the quarterfinals.
