Tehran, March 13 - President of world's soccer governing body, FIFA,
expressed Tuesday his regret over the illness of Iran's former national
goalkeeper Ahmad-Reza Abedzadeh who suffered a brain stroke two weeks ago,
Iran's Football Federation said. In a letter addressed to IFF President Mohsen Safaei-Farahani, Sepp Blatter wrote, "I am very upset about Ahmad-Reza Abedzadeh's illness and wish him up and about soon. Please, send FIFA's regards and extend world soccer family's sympathy to Abedzadeh, his family and friends."
