TEHRANTIMES - Persepolis football club has signed midfielder Mohsen Mosalan from Zob Ahan on a one-year contract on Friday.

The Iranian giant hired Mosalman as Mohammad Nouri’s successor who left the club to join Qatari side Al-Mesaimeer.

This is the second spell at Persepolis for Mohsen Mosalman as he joined the Tehran based club on a loan deal in 2013-14 season.

The 24-year old midfielder also holds the record for being the youngest scorer in the Iran Pro League. Mosalman scored his first goal in his debut in the Iran Pro League for Zob Ahan against Bargh Shiraz in 2007-08 season at the age of 16.

Persepolis finished in the eight place last year in the Iranian Professional League.
