PLDC - Javad Kazemian, Iranian player of Al Ahli, has become popular with the club after scoring two goals in recent games. His popularity has increased with the fans and club officials. In a recent press interview he
commented, “I scored a nice goal in the last match and fulfilled my promise. I had made a bet with some of the Al Ahli boys that I would score any free kick awarded to us and I won it.”

“I had heard that after the lost of Al Ahli to Pakhtakor, the club officials regretted purchasing me, but they had spent this money to qualify to the next round so it was hard for them to lose. But I think that they are not sorry anymore. The UAE officials are asking their players to only score goals to keep the fans in the stadiums.”

“Ali Karimi is fine and is considered as the best player of the club. I did not think he would so popular. His presence gives me comfort and support. The only thing which upsets me is the fact that the players in Iran are not given the facilities we have here. Believe me when I say that 90 percent of the players in our Professional League are stronger than the UAE players.”

“I don’t know when I am coming to Iran as I am busy with matches now. I have not made any decisions about the future and all I think about is the success of Al Ahli. I miss everyone I know in Iran.”
