PLDC - In the 7th week of the Iranian Professional League, Persepolis faced Fajr Shiraz at home and won the match with the result of 2-0. The goal by Persepolis in the first half was scored by Payan Rafaat in the 37th
minute. In a post match interview with the press, Rafaat said, “We witnessed a smooth, professional game from Persepolis after a long time. This victory made the fans and the players happy.”

“Persepolis played the way it should and we made up for the bad performance against Esteghlal Ahwaz. Fajr also had a role in making this match what it was. They really played well and showed that they could play a fair game. Persepolis is carrying out the orders of the coaches and we are becoming more coordinated. The biggest problem in our game was the pitch because it was not level it prevented us from performing well.”
