PLDC - Behzad Dadashzadeh, present Bargh Shiraz and ex-Esteghlal Tehran player, was in the spotlight for a short time last season but was soon rejected as top material by the technical staff of Esteghlal Tehran. This
sent him off to Bargh Shiraz in the new season, where he hoped to make a comeback. His luck though still has not changed.

In a press interview he said, “I am on a streak of bad luck at the moment and I don’t know why. The day before the elimination Cup match against Saipa I was injured and could not play for my club. I had other problems in the games before that. I don’t when luck will come my way.”
“In the two years I spent with Esteghlal, I thought about separation a number of times. I tried to, but they would not transfer me.
Pourheidari (ex-head coach of Esteghlal Tehran) did not believe in me but kept me in the club. I tried very hard in the practice sessions to prove myself but no one noticed my efforts. I finally got transferred to Bargh Shiraz this year. But luck is not on my side and nothing goes right.”

“Friday,6/12/2002, (6th week of the Professional League) is my day and I know I am not any less than the other players in the team. I am ready to prove myself if the club allows it.”
