PLDC - In the Persepolis – Abu Moslem match (1-0 victory of Persepolis) on
Thursday, 23/11/2002, Karim Bagheri, Persepolis striker, was injured so seriously that he had to be taken to the hospital in Mashhad and was then
transferred to IranMehr hospital in Tehran. He then immediately had an operation on Friday morning.
Bagheri has had a clavicle joint and shoulder dislocation and one of his ligaments has apparently been torn badly as well. According to the
forecast of his doctors, he will be unable to play from between 6 to 8 weeks and must be under medical supervision for the duration of the
period.
The other injury of the game was that of Ali Ansarian who also ended up with a dislocated shoulder but he can walk and did not need to refer to
the hospital.
