PLDC - According to rumors, Bahram Atef- ex-head coach of Zob Ahan- intends to leave for Italy to join a football club of that country. In a recent interview with the press he commented in this regard, “It is true that I intend to go to Italy. I was supposed to go to Italy or Germany a few years ago as well, but I was the Zob Ahan coach then and could not leave the club without fulfilling my commitment.”

“At present I am faced with two choices. Italy and Germany. The stronger probability is Italy. I’ll be going there in late January and I’ll stay for half a season. I have been invited to theoretical football classes there but it is past me now and I have gone thorough all such classes and see no need to attend them.”

“I really want to study a well-known Italian team there. I want to see how a great Italian team was made from the base up. I want to see them in training and learn how they work out before a match and what they do after games. I need to learn how they begin the season and how they end it. These are the most important observations that I need to make. I don’t which team I’ll study yet.”

“I intend to present a mixture of the Italian and Iranian football to my country in the future and learn new things in the process. When I come back, I’ll coach for any team which wants me.”
