KABIR - Farhad Majidi, the former Capitan of Esteghlal FC, is going to negotiate with his former club in order to move back to Esteghlal. He joined Al Gharafa on loan in mid season window.

Professor Ali Fathollahzadeh, the president of Esteghlal FC, announced his side will try hard to add Majidi to club. “Esteghlal is the home of Majidi. We are always eager to have him in this club.” Fathollahzadeh said in a live TV show. Its noteworthy that Majidi has not good relationship with Amir Ghalenoei, the new head coach of Esteghlal FC.

However its been announced that Majidi has recently signed a 5 year contract with Al Jazeera Sport channel. According to this contract Majidi will cooperate with this Arabic channel for five years. His close relationship with Sami Abdullah Al-Jaber, the legendary football player from Saudi Arabia, and Majidi’s fluency in Arabic are the reasons that helped both sides to sign a contract.

Majidi started his youth career in Bahman. In 1995 he was picked up for the senior squad. He first joined Esteghlal in 1997. In 2007 Farhad started his fourth spell in Esteghlal until 2012.
