KYIV, January 29 (DSA)- The Ukrainian
national team have always had some problems concerning international
friendlies schedule. But now Leonid Buryak's side seem to have overcome
that difficulties.
"We sent several match invitations to all corners of the world. Now we
have nine federations' agreements," the Head of Ukrainian National Teams
Committee Anatoliy Buznyk said to DSA correspondent.
"Saudi Arabia offered us to play. But most likely we will deny it as the
date they suggest coincides with already planned games against Japan
(March 21) and Georgia (April 17). We now study all other proposals. Iran,
for instance, offered to play a friendly in August before Euro-2004
qualifying campaign kicks off. We are going to accept the proposal,"
Buryan concluded.
