Tehran, Oct 15, IRNA -- Iran Pro League Organization Monday announced
that the Persepolis-Barq match of the first week of the league will beheld on the due time.
Persepolis (Pirouzi) Club had earlier asked the organization to postpone the match.
During a meeting on Monday, the Board of Directors of Iran Pro League Organization said: "Based on Article 1-3 of the regulations on
clubs' relations with the Pro League, any change in schedule is possible just through receiving a written order from Iran's Football
Federation (IFF) or an order from the country's security officials.
"So, the case was referred to the IFF. "Extending its condolences to the bereaved family of the former
national player and Coach of Persepolis, Nasser Mohammadkhani, whose wife was murdered Wednesday, Iran's Football Federation said according
to the schedule the mentioned match will be held on the due time, October 18."
