Riyadh, June 29, IRNA -- Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittifaq Club is negotiating to recruit two players of Esteqlal of Tehran, Alireza Nikbakht-Vahedi and Mahmoud Fekri.
In its Saturday edition, Al-Riyadh daily wrote that the club is talking to Esteqlal Managing Director, Ali Fat'hollahzadeh, to transfer these two footballers.
Although the Tehrani team's managing director has agreed to sell the duo, financial problems have hindered their transfer, added the paper.
According to the Saudi daily, Nikbakht-Vahedi was to join a Spanish team but the two sides did not reach an agreement. Al-Ittifaq has already imported two players from Zambia and Senegal.
