PFDC- The Iranian Football
Federation (IFF) announced a memorandum to all Iranian clubs who
participate in the Iranian Pro-league (IPL) as a reminder of the rules and
regulations which requires all the coaches to have C or B licenses
approved by the AFC in order for the clubs to stay in the IPL.
This has caused a dilemma for the Iranian coaches who became coaches, once
being a star player and without higher education in modern football to
comply with the standards of the AFC.
This rule covers the age-groups of U14, U16, U19, U21, U23 and the Adult
team in Football and U19, U21 and the adults in Futsal.
Some of the coaches who will be worried about this specific rule would be
the following:
Ali Parvin (Persepolis), Nasser Hejazi (Esteghlal-Rasht), Pourheidari (Esteghlal),
Mahmoud Yavari (Tracktor), Nasser Ebrahimi(Persepolis), Bahram Atef (ZobAhan),
Karimi and etc.
These coaches can not be present on the team bench according to the IPL
rules. It will be interesting to see what would happen if the IFF starts
to accurately enforce this rule.
