One of the problems facing IFF this year has been the decreasing amount of spectators showing up to watch the IPL games. This can be blamed on IRIB, who does not finance the league in any way, for showing all of Esteghlal & Perspolis' matches along with some other IPL games where fans can sit in the comfort of their homes with coolers and heaters and watch the games. With all other problems contributing to the lowered crowd numbers, to make matters worse IFF has also weekday games scheduled for IPL right on office hourse. For example, week 16 of the IPL will start today (Sunday), considered a weekday on the Iranian calendar, while games also took place on Monday & Tuesday. This will cause a crowd of no more than 15,000 to show up and watch the game. The IFF should discover these problems in order for the newly activated IPL to advance. varzeshkar.com
