Tehran- March 4 - Former national
goalkeeper and skipper of Iran, Ahmad Reza Abedzadeh, who underwent a
brain surgery after a cerebral hemorrhage at 03:00 a.m. On March 3
started to talk Monday,said a surgeon with the Kasra hospital.
Talking to Irna, Dr. Ali Reza Naderi added Abedzadeh, who went into a
coma was rushed to the Kasra hospital in the wee hours of Sunday and
immediately ct scans and angiography operations were carried out on him.
His conditions afterwards were monitored in the ICU ward, the surgeon
further said. According to the surgeon, the former Goalie underwent a
surgery Sunday afternoon during which a considerable amount of clot was
removed from his brain, helping him reco ver more speedily.
He assured that Abedzadeh would open his eyes, adding that his leg
cannot move yet but it would recover in the days to come.
Rejecting the reports of stroke, Dr. naderi said Abedzadeh is suffering
from a cerebral hemorrhage that is rare among the youth of the same age.
the specialists are trying to find the reason for the hemorrhage. the
reaction of abedzadeh and his hands' movements are satisfactory, added
the surgeon.
