PLDC – Iran has been drawn in Group C of the 2018 AFC U16 Championship.
Islamic Republic of Iran, the 2016 runner-up, will continue its pursuit of a first title, having drawn Vietnam, India and Indonesia in Group C.
A total of 16 teams will take part in the tournament which will also serve as a qualification platform for the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup to be held in Peru, with the top four teams going through.
Group A - Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Tajikistan
Group B - North Korea, Oman, Yemen, Jordan
Group C - Iran, Vietnam, India, Indonesia
Group D - Iraq, South Korea, Australia, Afghanistan
The AFC U16 Championship Malaysia is on September 20 - October 7.
