PLDC - Farhad Kazemi the Head Coach of
Sepahan Football team told reporters that despite losses against Malavan and
Foolad Ahvaz, Sepahan is still the number one candidate to win the league
this year.
He added: “One of the main reason behind our two recent losses had to do
with defensive errors, and also not having our fans in the Stadium was a
negative factor as well as a good football played by Foolad on Sunday.
We will however play stronger in the upcoming weeks.” Kazemi also mentioned:
“There are some people who don’t want Sepahan to win the league title, and
that makes things difficult for us.”
Kazemi who did not mentioned any names in regard to those individuals,
concluded by saying: “I don’t want to get into side issues or blame anyone
for our recent losses, I will only say that our team is currently going
through an unstable phase, but if all the top 7 teams below us do their
best, none will perhaps achieve more than 45 points since they will all at
some point go through ups and downs.”
