Tehran Times - Struggling Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen are reportedly interested in signing Iranian international striker Saman Ghoddos.

Ghoddos, who scored his first goal for Iran national football team on Thursday against Panama, will reportedly cost the German team five million euros.

Ghoddos, whose contract expires in Östersund in December 2019, has been voted the best striker in Allsvenskan League this season.

Also, Championship sides Wolverhampton Wanderers, QPR and Fulham are in the race for Iranian attacker.

The teams sent scouts to watch Ghoddos in action for Ostersunds in their Europa League defeat to Athletic Bilbao.

The Iranian striker is in prolific form in 2017, scoring 15 goals and setting up a further nine for a side managed by Englishman Graham Potter.

The Iranian-Swedish player decided to wear the jersey of Team Melli in September despite being invited to play for Sweden.
