Tasnim - Iran’s Esteghlal forward reached an initial agreement with Belgium’s Royal Charleroi Sporting Club, simply known as Charleroi.

Rezaei posted a photo on his official Instagram with the shirt of Zebras and thanked Esteghlal’s fans and coaching staff.

Rezaei scored seven goals and provided nine assists for Esteghlal in his first season in the team.

The 25-year-old forward helped the Blues finish runner-up in Iran Professional League (IPL).

Rezaei started his playing career in Foolad in 2009 and has also played at Saipa and Zob Ahan.

Charleroi plays in the Belgian Pro League and its current spell at the highest level in Belgian football started in the 2012–13 season.

Charleroi was founded in 1904 and it first reached the first division in 1947–48. Its highest finish was runner-up in the 1968–69 season.

It has also twice reached the Belgian Cup final, losing in 1977–78 to Beveren and in 1992–93 to Standard Liege.
