IRNA - The international
midfielder Mehrdad Minavand will join Persepolis on March 2, said the club's
deputy on Sunday morning.
In his talks with IRNA, Hossein Arouni added all arrangements have been made
to bring back Minavand to Persepolis and he will be officially transferred
from Al Shabab of the United Arab Emirates within the next days.
Speaking about the transfer of Hamed Kavianpour to Persepolis, he said the
midfielder will arrive in Tehran on Sunday night, adding that he will be in
the reds' squad and accompany the team in its Tuesday's trip to Tashkent,
Uzbekistan, if some problems are solved.
Persepolis is to play Al Talabah of Iraq in Group 4 of the Asian Clubs
Championships in the Uzbek city on Sunday, March 9. According to Arouni,
Persepolis will fly to Moscow on Tuesday and then will head for Tashkent.
All players of Persepolis will accompany the team, said the official, adding
that the list of 20 regulars is handed over to the Asian Football
Confederation (AFC) 48 hours before the match against Al Talabah.
