Four games were played today to conclude Week 13 of the IPL. This means we have witnessed the first half of a professional football season in our country. Their were 4 shutouts in today's matches, so it looks like some teams have solved their defensive problems.

Esteghlal 4- Malavan 0:

Esteghlal secures their place on the top of the IPL now with this win. Ali Reza vahedi-Nikbakht started the goal scoring in the first half, when he seemed to be crossing the ball, but it hit the post and went into the goal, the Malavan keeper was shocked. Then in the second half we saw Esteghlal's powerful forwards dominating the Malavan defenders. Ahmad Momenzadeh, came out hungry in the second half, and after a slick move and shot by Akbarpour, Momenzadeh was there to tap it in. Momenzadeh's second goal made it 3-0, after a beautiful cross by Navazi, Momenzadeh headed the ball in from very close range, it was so close that the goal can even be credited to Navazi as it appeared that maybe the ball was already in the goal when Momenzadeh headed it. The goal was, however, credited to Momenzadeh. Faraz fatemi scored a very beautiful goal to seal things up for Esteghlal, it came from a great cross from Vahedi-Nikbakht, which Fatemi elevated over the keeper to head the ball in. Player of the Match: Ali Reza Vahedi-Nikbakht
