Tabriz - Former national striker and
ex-coach of Paykan and Saipa was named as the new manager of Tabriz-based
tractor Sazi on Saturday.
During a ceremony held on February 8, the managing director of Tractor Sazi
Cultural-Sports Club expressing his appreciation to the erstwhile coach Ahad
Sheikh Lari for his efforts officially introduced Alidousti as the new
trainer.
Khosro Abdollahzadeh added Lari offered his resignation to the club's
officials after Tractor Sazi loss to Oqab.
The managing director said lack of effective function of technical
committee, lack of officials' support, and poor performance of players were
the main reasons for unsatisfactory results Tractor Sazi has taken in recent
weeks in the first division competitions.
He expressed hope the Tabrizi side restore its position in the next nine
matches through cooperation and efforts of coaches and players.
Alidousti said he accepted to steer the team due to his great interest in
devoted players of Tabriz.
The newly appointed coach added, "it is difficult for the best managers of
the world to get good results in the midway but I hope to help Tractor Sazi
-- thanks to the struggle of players and other coaches -- promote to Iran
pro league."
In the ceremony, former national goalkeeper Ahmad Sajjadi was installed as
the fitness trainer and assistant coach of Tractor Sazi.
